In Good Faith Foundation (IGFF) is delighted to announce the appointment of Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and His Excellency Simeon Beckett SC as our Joint Patrons.

IGFF is a national charity and recognised recovery service, providing case management and advocacy support to Survivors, families, whistle-blowers, and communities impacted by institutional abuse.

Ms Sam Mostyn

Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC was sworn in as Australia’s 28th Governor-General on 1 July 2024. A highly respected businesswoman and community leader, Ms Mostyn has a long history of leadership in the business, sport, climate change, arts, and not-for-profit sectors. She is recognised for her eminent service to social justice, gender equity, reconciliation, environmental sustainability, and cultural advancement.

Mr Simeon Beckett

His Excellency Simeon Beckett SC is a leading barrister with more than 25 years’ experience in public law, human rights, and anti-discrimination law. With a distinguished legal career including appearances in the High Court of Australia, Mr Beckett has played a key role in major commissions of inquiry, notably serving as counsel assisting the landmark Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. His ongoing advocacy for justice and human rights complements his new role as joint Patron.
