IGFF welcomes the Commonwealth Government’s $146 million commitment to the first phase of a new National Strategy to Prevent Child Sexual Abuse.
Such significant funding will have a profoundly positive impact on the Survivors of institutional abuse community and further strengthens the commitment to ensure our children are safe from sexual abuse, no matter where it occurs.
While we cannot undo the damage and evils of the past, this announcement is a step in the right direction to ensure children across Australia, will be safer in the future.
