Collaborating for Change
Training and Advocacy
At IGFF, we believe in the power of collaboration to drive meaningful change.
By working with other organisations, we enhance our training and advocacy efforts to better support adult survivors of child sexual abuse, their families, and associated trauma. Our partnerships allow us to extend our reach, share expertise, and create a more impactful support network.
Training Programs for organisations
We offer specialised training programs designed to equip organisations with the knowledge and skills needed to support survivors of child sexual abuse.
Our training sessions cover a wide range of topics, including:
- Understanding Trauma: Educating staff and volunteers about the effects of trauma and the specific needs of survivors.
- Trauma-informed Legal education (TILE): Providing practical tools and techniques for offering compassionate and effective support.
- Creating Safe Spaces: Helping organisations develop policies and environments that ensure safety and confidentiality for Survivors.
Our training programs are tailored to meet the unique needs of each organisation, ensuring that they are both relevant and impactful.
