Cardinal George Pell is a liability for the Catholic Church and is “finished” as a senior member of the clergy, Neil Mitchell says.

In an interview on 60 Minutes last night, the man appointed by Pope Francis as the commissioner for the protection of children said Cardinal Pell’s position was untenable.

“I think George Pell is finished. He can’t survive this”  Neil Mitchell
